Sul tema, ecco un contributo illuminante di un amico della rete della 
ricerca svizzera (Simon Leinen).

Car manufacturer: "We'd love to build electric cars but nobody would buy
them because there's no charging infrastructure comparable to gas
stations.  Oh, and btw they are more expensive and our margins are low."
Electricity company: "we will seriously consider starting to build this
infrastructure as soon as there is sufficient demand; but so far we see
very few electric cars." - Sounds familiar?

On a smaller scale, think about how long the car industry (especially in
our German home country) refused to sell cars with catalysators.
Eventually this was solved by regulation.


Insomma, nei paesi civili ci si aspetta che intervenga lo Stato, prima 
che si possano creare situazioni di sbilancio a favore di uno o piu' 
attori,
oppure prima che si possano creare le condizioni per una scarsita' di 
risorse che vada a detrimento del consumatore.
Ho detto nei paesi civili, non in Italia.
